Asus’s First “Ultrabook”

We’re often hanging around our labs with a spread of the latest laptops all around us—and some of the very newest ones are starting to make us feel fat. The sudden rise of the “ultrabook”—a new class of super-skinny laptops powered by Intel processors—has begun, and it’s all about being extremely thin, light, and portable. But we digress. The latest of these super-thin notebooks, known for their power and portability, is the Asus ZenBook. With its super-skinny, wedge-like design and remarkably fast, powerful performance, it calls to mind a certain Apple standard-bearer—the MacBook Air—in a whole bunch of ways.
